    • Entity Schemas: Continuing to investigate and prototype technical approaches for version 2
    • Mismatch Finder: Working on giving mismatch providers access to the reviews of the mismatches they uploaded (phab:T304794)
    • Investigated how to best do language switching for the Query Builder and Mismatch Finder. So far they only support it by specifying the language via a URL parameter and not yet via the UI (phab:T324653)

    • A citation hunt program was organized for secondary school students at IIS School in Dubai as part of the 74th Republic Day celebration of India. 16 students participated, with different mother tongues and from different states of India living as expatriates in Dubai. The goal was to increase references for Wikidata statements based on research. The students were introduced to the importance of protecting India's history on the internet, and were taught how to edit Wikipedia and Wikidata. They were given a special event page on Wikidata with instructions and a list of Wikidata items to add citations to, and they searched for references in their textbooks and search engines to add to the Wikidata items.More details are given here.
    • Next Linked Data for Libraries LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Working Hour January 30, 2023: The #1Lib1Ref campaign is afoot, so we will be working on adding references to Wikidata statements. We'll have some data for you to work with, but you're welcome to bring your own. We'll be mainly working with adding webpages as sources, but if you want to get experience using books or articles as sources, we recommend bringing some to the session to use as references for Wikidata items you have identified. You are, as always, welcome to bring your own project to work on Event page

    • Wikibase REST API: The first version of the new API is released on Wikidata now \o/ We'd love to hear your feedback on what to improve next in the API.
    • Property Suggester: We updated the data for the Property Suggester so suggestions for new statements to add to an Item should be more in line with current Property usage on other similar Items again.
    • Fixed an issue with Item deletions not showing up on Wikipedia and co if they affect an article on that wiki (phab:T326082)

Hallo OC, wir hatten bei der Wikicon darüber gesprochen, dass du die Brandenburger Baudenkmale nach Wikidata bringen möchtest zusammen mit den dazugehörigen Teilobjkten.

@GPSLeo: wartet begierig darauf nach Berlin und Bremen weitere Commons:UploadMap an den Start zu bringen :-) In Brandenburg haben wir uns darüber hinaus entschieden die Teilobjeke in den Listen darzustellen.

Was wir jetzt noch brauchen ist ein Property für die Teilobjekt-ID analog zu d:P2081 für "BLDAM-Objekt-ID (P2081)". Der Aufbau der ID ist identisch, nur darf darüber kein link aus WD erzeugt werden, da aktuell der Eintrag nicht ansprechbar ist.

Und jetzt meine Frage :-) Hast du schon mal zeit und lust gehabt, dich mit dem Import zu beschäftigen und kannst du abschätzen, wann? Viele Grüße --  Thomas 07:41, 20. Feb. 2023 (CET)

Hallo Ordercrazy!

Wir laden Dich hiermit recht herzlich zu unserem 1. Stammtisch des Jahres nach Augsburg ein.

Wir treffen uns um 15:00 Uhr zum Vorprogramm am Bf Friedberg (b. Augsburg). Im Museum im Wittelsbacher Schloss läuft zur Zeit die Sonderausstellung zum Maler und Grafiker Fritz Schwimbeck. Wer möchte, kann auch gerne in die Dauerausstellung oder hinterher noch reinschauen. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auch die ersten Frühlingsgefühle der Natur erhaschen.

Anschließend um 17:00 Uhr sind wir zum Stammtisch im Jasmy in Friedberg, Ludwigstraße 19 angemeldet. Dort ist ein Tisch für 10 Personen reserviert (Anzahl kann bei Bedarf erhöht werden).

Wenn auch Du dabei sein möchtest, melde Dich bitte auf WP:Augsburg an, damit wir besser planen können. Falls Ihr jemanden mitbringen wollt, tragt die Anzahl der Personen dort bitte mit ein. Gerne kannst Du bei der Anmeldung auch Diskussionswünsche dazuschreiben, die wir dann bereden können.

Wir freuen uns, Dich dort begrüßen und, falls noch nicht geschehen, kennenlernen zu dürfen.

Wiki Loves Museumsverband Nordrhein-Westfalen -
Ein virtueller Besuch im Fachverband.

Gemeinsam mit dem Museumsverband Nordrhein-Westfalen werden wir am 17. April 2023 eine GLAM-digital-Veranstaltung durchführen. Wir konnten dafür Tilmann Bruhn (Geschäftsführer des Verbandes) gewinnen. An diesem Abend wird er uns den neugegründeten Museumsverband vorstellen. Nach einem Input von ihm gibt es Zeit für Fragen und die Möglichkeit zum Austausch über mögliche Kooperationsideen. Wir freuen uns auf euch! When adding new pages though, a common problem is to link those to Wikidata. This can be unfeasible by hand in a reasonable amount of time, when hundreds of pages, e.g. categories, are added at once. The idea is to have the bot approved for Wikidata, so it can link the pages to their counterparts in other languages automatically.)

Einladung zum 72. Augsburger Stammtisch

Hallo Ordercrazy!

Wir laden Dich dieses Mal zu einer WikiSpargel Exkursion nach Schrobenhausen ein. Am 20. Mai findet dort von 10 bis 16 Uhr das jährliche traditionelle Spargelfest auf dem Lenbachplatz statt.

Auch dieses Mal haben wir wieder ein Vorprogramm zum Stammtisch aufgesetzt. Wir treffen uns zwischen 14:45 Uhr und 15:00 Uhr am Eingang des Europäischen Spargelmuseums. Gebucht ist eine Führung durchs Museum von 15:00 bis 15:45 Uhr. Am Ausgang des Museums werden wir um 16 Uhr zu einer 90-minütigen Altstatdtführung abgeholt.

Wie es sich für eine echte WikiSpargel Exkursion gehört, müssen wir den Tag auch mit einem Spargelessen abschließen. Dazu landen wir um 18:00 Uhr im Gasthaus J. Stief «Zum Schimmelwirt», etwas südlich der Altstadt gelegen. Hoffentlich passt das Wetter auch, damit wir im gemütlichen Schimmelgarten beisammen sitzen können.

Wenn auch Du dabei sein möchtest, melde Dich bitte auf WP:Augsburg an, damit wir besser planen können. Falls Du jemanden mitbringen möchtest, trage die Anzahl der Personen dort bitte mit ein. Gerne kannst Du bei der Anmeldung auch Diskussionswünsche dazuschreiben, die wir dann bereden können.

Wir freuen uns, Dich dort begrüßen und, falls noch nicht geschehen, kennenlernen zu dürfen.

GLAM on Tour hybrid
mit dem Museum Barberini.

Eine Stärke der de.wikipedia ist, dass viele Artikel zur Stilrichtung des Impressionismuss im Allgemeinen und auch Artikel zu Piet Mondrian oder zu Johan Barthold Jongkind im Speziellen dank all der Autorinnen und Autoren gut ausgearbeitet sind. Zugleich ist uns allen klar, dass die Wikipedia nie abschließend fertig sein wird. Diese ganz bewusst als hybride GLAM-on-Tour geplante Wochenendveranstaltung wird uns vom 25. bis zum 27. August 2023 nach Potsdam führen. Gemeinsam mit dem Museum Barberini werden wir uns den Künstlerinnen und Künstlern nähern, die in der aktuellen Sonderausstellung “Wolken und Licht. Impressionismus in Holland” versammelt sind. Es wird eine Teilnahme vor Ort möglich sein, einzelne Teile des Veranstaltungsprogramms werden aber auch online angeboten. Bitte meldet euch gerne an, mehr erfahrt ihr auf den Seiten zur Veranstaltung. Wir freuen uns auf euch!

Wiki Loves Friedhofskultur -
Ein virtueller Austausch zur Kultur des Bestattens und des Trauerns sowie der Gestaltung, Pflege und Bewahrung von Gräbern, Grabmalen, Friedhöfen und anderen Gedenkorten.

Zurück aus der Sommerpause werden wir gemeinsam mit dem Museum für Sepulkralkultur, dem Kuratorium immaterielles Erbe Friedhofskultur e.V. und der Deutschen UNESCO-Kommission am 11. September 2023 eine GLAM-digital-Veranstaltung durchführen. Wir konnten dafür Tobias Pehle, Geschäftsführer des Kuratoriums immaterielles Erbe Friedhofskultur e.V., Dr. Dirk Pörschmann, Geschäftsführer Arbeitsgemeinschaft Friedhof und Denkmal e.V. und Direktor Museum und Zentralinstitut für Sepulkralkultur und Tolin Jojo, Geschäftsstelle Immaterielles Kulturerbe, Abteilung Erbe, Natur, Gesellschaft der Deutschen UNESCO-Kommission e.V. gewinnen. Die Veranstaltung findet im Wettbewerbsmonat von Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 statt und nimmt so direkten Bezug auf den diesjährigen Sonderpreis "Friedhöfe".

Liebe Mitspielende bei dem Spiel „Drei Wünsche frei“!

Zur warmen Ferienzeit beschenkt euch die Urlaubsfee: Ihr dürft vom 1. Juli 2023 bis zum 21. Juli 2023 beliebig viele Wünsche in der eigenen Wunschliste oder eigene Jokerwünsche in der Wunschliste anderer, die bisher nicht reserviert worden sind, gegen neue Wünsche austauschen. Auch nicht reservierte Jokerwünsche, die sich in eurer Wunschliste angesammelt haben, dürft ihr gegen eigene Wünsche auswechseln. Erfüllte Wünsche (also die grünen Häkchen) bleiben bestehen und dürfen nicht ausgewechselt werden.

Reservierte Wünsche sollten nach Möglichkeit nur in Absprache mit der Person (außer der Reservierende ist mittlerweile längerfristig inaktiv) ausgetauscht werden, die den Wunsch reserviert hat (Vielleicht ist er/sie ja gerade fast fertig). Wer einen alten Wunsch aufgeben, aber keinen neuen in Anspruch nehmen möchte, darf natürlich auch einen Joker einsetzen, für den andere sich etwas wünschen können.
