BFI TV 100

Die BFI TV 100 ist eine Liste der besten britischen Fernsehsendungen. Zusammengestellt hat sie das British Film Institute (BFI) im Jahr 2000 auf Grund einer Umfrage unter Fernsehschaffenden.

Methode

Die BBC produzierte 70 der 100 ausgewählten Sendungen.

Mit 7 der 100 Sendungen war Granada Television der bestvertretene kommerzielle Sender.

Mitarbeiter des BFI erstellten eine Vorauswahl von 650 Sendungen, unterteilt in sechs Kategorien. Nachrichten- und Sportsendungen waren ausgeschlossen. Die Liste wurde an Fernsehschaffende verschickt, von denen jeder dreißig Stimmrechte verteilen konnte, davon mindestens drei in jeder Kategorie.
