Valter Tucci (* 1976 in Cosenza) ist ein italienischer Neurowissenschaftler, Schlafforscher und Psychologe.

Leben und Wirken

Valter Tucci studierte Psychologie bis 2000 an der Universität Padua. 2004 promovierte er in Neurophysiopathologie des Schlafs an der Universität Genua.

Er leitet die Neurobehaviourale Gruppe am Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Italienisches Institut für Technologie, IIT).

Auszeichnungen

2008 erhielt Valter Tucci den „Young Investigator“-Preis vom italienischen Präsidenten Giorgio Napolitano und die Goldmedaille „Mente & Cervello“ der italienischen Version des „Scientific American Mind“.
