Seelig ist der künstlerische Leiter des San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus. Darüber hinaus leitet und präsentiert er Workshops in den Vereinigten Staaten.[1] Seelig trat 1987 dem Turtle Creek Chorale bei und war zwei Jahrzehnte lang dessen Dirigent. Während dieser Zeit war er Mitbegründer eines Frauenchors von Dallas. 1999 dirigierte er das längste Chorkonzert der Welt, wie von Guinness World Records bestätigt. Als Autor hat er fünf Bücher zu den Themen Chormusik und Gesangstechnik publiziert.
