Indian Ocean earthquake map - english version

You can find an english-language version of the map of the earthquake in the Indian Ocean at commons now Image:Indan Ocean Earthquake2004.png. As for the software: you can use any vector-program you have available for drawing the outlines (Illustrator, Freehand, even Flash works fine). I use to scan maps of the areas I need from books and copy the outlines by hand and fill the areas where necessary. Afterwards you may use the Gimp or Photoshop for inserting the typography, background, color-corrections etc.. That's how I do it - there may be other/better ways. --Tsui 03:27, 28. Dez 2004 (CET)
