False positive in Catalan Wikipedia
The article ca:metà has a false positive in error number 7. Hey, we are reducing errors a lot there. Wont' you include a ranking of % of errors per Wikipedia in the statistics? 83.49.228.88 15:11, 5. Jan. 2009 (CET)
- It is not a false positiv. The problem is the big table before this headline. In the first line of this article my script found a "{|". This is the begin of the table. And my script found the correct "|}" at the end of table in "Emissions de metà". At the moment my script ignore the table so I delete this part of the article and show only the rest. And then the headline "Alliberament sobtat dels clatrats de metà" is the first headline. Please finish the first infobox table with "|}". -- sk 13:49, 6. Jan. 2009 (CET)
False positive detection of error 7

Character not detected in error 37
The Polish characters ł (see ca:Białystok) and Ł are not flagged by your script. Luckily, in Polish there's no shortage of accented consonants, so most get caught, but some of them (like my example) don't. Thanks for your work!--Joancreus 14:49, 5. Jan. 2009 (CET)
- Hello Joancreus, I can not change this, because in the plwiki is the error 37 deactivated. Every language can deactivate an activate all errors by the translation-page (pl:Wikiprojekt:Check Wikipedia/Tłumaczenie). Someone has deactivate this. Please discuss this in plwiki and activate this error. Than I can also change the output for pl. For example: in fiwiki or ruwiki are also special characters. Ich wurde gebeten, Dir folgenden Wunsch zu übermitteln: Es wäre schön, wenn Du zeitweilig «HTML text style element <small>» abschalten könntest. Es gibt sehr viele Fehlermeldungen (über die Hälfte aller Fehler), der Fehler selbst ist eher zweitrangig und die community ist sich noch nicht einig, wie mit dem Fehler umgegangen werden soll. Eine zeitweilige Abschaltung, bis Einigkeit über das weitere Vorgehen besteht, spart Ressourcen auf dem Toolserver und verkleinert die Fehlerseite. Obersachse 19:27, 6. Jan. 2009 (CET)

Neue Artikel
Hallo Stefan, kann es sein, dass seit einigen Tagen die neuangelegten Artikel bei Check Wikipedia nicht mehr kontrolliert werden. Mir sind inzwischen mehrmals bei der Fehlerliste der PD Artikel aufgefallen, die auch Fehler hatten, die bei Check Wikipedia erkannt hätten werden sollen. Andim 21:19, 9. Jan. 2009 (CET)

- Z. B. [1], hier wurde die kleingeschriebene Kategorie nicht erkannt (vgl. aber den Abschnitt darüber). Ich habe auch einige Artikel mit [[Kategorie:Mann] gesehen, dies hätte auch bei der Überprüfung auf korrekte Klammern auffallen müssen, bzw. mit †. Incorrect special characters

Special characters are generated incorrectly on the toolserver page for af:wiki.
Examples:
- geïnspireer should be geïnspireer
- Kühn should be Kühn
etc. etc.

Possible false positive in Catalan Wikipedia

it.wiki possible problems
Hi Stefan, almost all the "Images without description" (error number 30) disappeared between 6 and 8 January, with the new dump, I suppose. Also I don't understand how to fix it:India (error number 10, Square brackets not correct) and it:Aiuto:Syntax_highlighting (error number 5, Comment not correct end). - Hi, Red Power. I don't know where the images form error 30 are. :-( The problem with India is a know problem. I will fix this in the future, so that you see where the problem is. - Hallo Red Power, at the moment I use the namespace word nr.6 from the italian dump and also in the other languages. There is only one word for images it is "File". Also I use in all languages the english namespace word nr.6

- Dewiki translation has apparently the same problem. I guess a correct solution would be to skip parts between "nowiki" tags. There can be virtually everything. I do not know your script well thus I cannot say it would be easy to fix. Miraceti 10:38, 14. Jan. 2009 (CET)
