Error id 3 in new interface show this text:

This article has a <ref></ref> and not a <references></references>. This is not correct syntax.

Problem is that this error is also displayed in articles, where is <references>…</references> used correctly:

he:Wikipedia

im neuen interface wird he:Wikipedia:WikiProject Check Wikipedia/Translation als übersetzung angegeben. he hat aber keinen namespace Wikipedia, sondern Wikipedia ist eine weiterleitung auf en (zb: he:wikipedia:Michael Jackson). die übersetzung sollte unterhalb von he:ויקיפדיה:Check Wikipedia liegen, also etwa unter he:ויקיפדיה:Check Wikipedia/Translation --xAwOc 13:20, 4. Troubles with frwiki page

Hallo

We have big troubles updating the frwiki page. We always can't édit the page -> when we submit the page, it take a long time to be uploaded, and then it display a mediawiki server error.

We don't know well what can be the reason why this page act like that.

It seems this occurs since the last big media wiki update. the page seems to big ( ? ) to be managed. We thouht of the change of 50 to 100 errors reported (since, the file is biggest i think), but IIRC th change was made some days before.

Do some other project have this problem ?

it is done like that at zh:-wiki. but you will need to split it on your own computer, the script doesn't write files for each priority. generally it is a possible workaround to omit low-priority until some high and middle errors are done. --xAwOc 21:46, 6. Okt. 2009 (CEST)

Ok so we decided to split in four pages (summary, high, middle, low). Now the pages are more accessible (at last can be saved normaly). I hope people would agree to switch to the new interface quickly (current poll). A2 08:43, 7. Okt. 2009 (CEST)

Can “done” button rescan the article

Could it be possible that when clicking the “done” button the toolserver rescan the article to check if the error is still there or not: it delete the row or show a warning if it's still erroneous instead of only deleting trusting the user. A2 08:43, 7. Okt. 2009 (CEST)

If you click the « done » button, then the script will check this article at the next scan. I will not implement this feature of "direct rescan", because if you set all 20000 article of one error with "done", then the script will make a big problem at the toolserver. So I use every day 1500 of the done-article and 500 of the oldest article of one language for a new scan. -- sk 08:52, 7. Okt. 2009 (CEST)

Check Wikipedia page size on enwiki

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Check_Wikipedia keeps taking longer and longer to load. Can you reduce the number of articles listed for each error? dewiki auf Englisch

Yes this is the new dump. I have scan the latest dump from 2009-10-10. The script need after a dump-scan many time to check the new results. After some days this problem will be fixed. If you have in this time problem with the Wiki-Interface, then use the new XHTML-Interface. This is every time available and up-to-date. --sk 09:10, 18. Okt. 2009 (CEST)

Fixed entries still flagged

I know that sometimes it may take a couple or more days for your script to notice that an article has been fixed. But I fixed a large set of articles that used to have error 56 almost three weeks ago, and they are still in the error list. I don't think there is a reason for the error any more; some examples are this article and this, which got fixed in October 3, but they still appear in the error list (although they never appear on the fifty that get shown in the main page). Did you work with the new interface? There are only 161 errors for number 56. If you use the "Done"-Link in the new interface, the article will check with the next run (most at the next day). - At the moment I don't find the article ca:El Mal Cau or ca:El Castell de Curull at the page ca:Viquipèdia:WikiProject_Check_Wikipedia. No, I still work with the old interface. I use a bot, and get the input from [1], and parse it. These pages still appear here, and, in fact, the article count shown in the wiki page is coherent with that. --Joancreus 12:35, 24. Okt. 2009 (CEST)

In the new interface is also a list for bots. If you are interessted at error 56 the go to this page and click at the link "List for bots". You can also modify this page, for example higher limit. If you have fix a page , then you can use the pageid of this article to set this with your bot as done. Show the done_link. There is the "project=cawiki&view=only&id=56&pageid=12345". If your bot use this link, then the new interface set the error 56 article 12345 in cawiki as Done. With the next scan this article will be check again. I hope this help. Hervorhebung von "Done"

Hallo Stefan,
Ich benutze deine geniale Applikation und bin begeistert. Allerdings ist es relativ schwierig auf den richtigen "Done"-Knopf zu drücken (vor allem bei 1920x1020 auf 15 Zoll, mit Brille...), da die Zeilen farbig alle gleich sind. Mein Vorschlag wäre ob es möglich wäre jeweils aufeinanderfolgende Zeilen in einer anderen Farbe hervorzuheben.

Dump for enwiki?

I had try this last week. And there where a problem to download the dump at toolserver and unzip the file. First I will have all other dumps in this list (sk, sv, tr, uk, zh, ja, fr, de) and then I will try again the enwiki. -- sk 10:05, 23. Okt. 2009 (CEST)

Ich denke das wird eher nicht gehen. Wüsste nicht wie ich das auf die schnelle Einbauen könnte. Wenn dann müsste das über die Wikipedia:API mit ausgegeben werden. falsche isbn-syntax

wenn bei einem artikel „isbn-13“ in einer datei-referenz ([[Datei:blablaISBN-13-Beispielblabla.pix]]) vorkommt, dann sollte es nicht mit auf die liste. – 紫藤 ♥ 05:44, 27. Okt. 2009 (CET)

Das gleiche Problem besteht auch, wenn im Text ganz normal steht "ISBN-10" (vgl. Katherine V. Forrest). Es sollte bei der Fehlerabfrage nicht nur "ISBN-10" bzw. "ISBN-13" abgefragt werden, sondern "ISBN-10 [mindestens eine beliebige Zahl]" resp. ""ISBN-13 [mindestens eine beliebige Zahl]". --Jmb1982 13:05, 5. Jan. 2010 (CET)

Fehler in Check Wikipedia

Hallo Stefan,
Ich bin gerade am doppelte Referenzen abarbeiten und folgendes fiel mir auf: http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/7233/panthert.jpg Die gelb markierte Zeile enthält nichts, die doppelten Referenzen habe ich mal eingesetzt. Anscheinend erkennt "doppelte Referenzen" keine <hiero> Bestandteile, könntest du das integrieren?

Das Skript hat das schon richtig erkannt, aber dort werden als Einzelnachweise Hieroglyphen eingebaut, dass sollte so eigentlich nicht gemacht werden, das ist doch keine Fußnote oder sowas. Ich sag mal in dem Artikel bescheid. Danke für den Hinweis. -- sk 21:29, 30. Okt. 2009 (CET)
