Hilda und Franzie

Where does one find a high resolution image or a poser of "Hilda und Franzie"? Or even, can you tell me if you know the owner?

I have seen the painting in Belvedere (Vienna) in 2007 and I have been searching for a reproduction ever since. Writing here is just the last desperate step in this quest.

There seems to be no website dedicated to Franz Matsch, no book, and even no high resolution reproduction of his works. On Art.com there are no posters of his paintings. So it looks like he is almost inexistent online. That is why it is important to locate the owner, or to find a supplier of posters or high resolution copies of his works.

If his works can be seen only in original, then at most a few people every day can enjoy them. This is too sad, don't you think?

The copyright is owning by the museum, but it is possible to get a reproduction on this site[1] -- Buchhändler 8. Feb. 2008, 18:45 (CET)
