Familie ?
BearbeitenWeiß jemand etwas über Familienleben (Heirat, Kinder etc.) ? -- Gerd Fahrenhorst 21:48, 28. Mär. 2011 (CEST)
Nur wenig aus:
Wer ist's? Begründet, redigiert u. hrsg. von Herrmann A. L. Degener. V. Ausgabe. Leipzig: Degener, 1911. Darin S. 1126: Proelss heiratete am 8. Juni 1882 Anna Creizenach, Tochter von Theodor Creizenach in Frankfurt. Aus der Verbindung gingen drei Kinder hervor: Helene (geb. 15.04.1883), Erich (geb. 18.05.1886) und Maria (geb. 30.04.1890). Die Familie wohnte in Stuttgart-Degerloch, Landhaus Gaudeamus, Josephstr. 10. Ich ergänze die Eheschließung im Artikel, zumal der Schwiegervater nicht ganz unbekannt war. -- Romalocuta 18:26, 30. Proelß or Prölß?
BearbeitenDear colleagues! I am sorry to write here in English, because I do not understand the German language. I see that this article is named Johannes Proelß, and the Wikisource element is also named Johannes Proelß. But the article references to a not yet created article about his father as Robert Prölß, and the Wikisource element is named Robert Prölß, too. I think, the same spelling for the both (the father and the son) is needed. Gamliel Fishkin 02:34, 8. Mär. 2015 (CET)
- Authority control data in Germany’s national library use this different spelling, too. Maybe Johannes once decided to use a different spelling to distinguish his texts from those of his father. -- 32X 11:53, 8. Mär. 2015 (CET)
- I am sorry if it is wrong, but I heard that the regular German spelling is just the ö, and the oe is used instead when the ö is technically impossible; is it true? Gamliel Fishkin 15:22, 8. Mär. 2015 (CET)
- oe is used, where ö isn’t available, yes. (That happened in old non-antiqua texts with the uppercase letter more often, Oe and ö could coexist in the same text.) But not every occurrence of oe is a replacement of ö, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe for example is never written Göthe. (The title of the movie Fack ju Göhte is intentionally misspelled.) -- 32X 15:45, 8. Mär. 2015 (CET)
