Cross-wiki spam
Bearbeiten@Baumfreund-FFM, Ameisenigel: It's a very clear cross-wiki spam campaign. More information on that in d:Wikidata:Project chat#Boushaki_family. It has been already deleted in more than thirty wikipedias as you can see here. Paucabot (Diskussion) 15:51, 5. Nov. 2023 (CET)
- This does not really matter. The article is not extremely bad and it is already 1.5 years old. If you believe that it should be deleted, you may ask for deletion at WP:LKH, a speedy deletion request is just not appropriate. --Ameisenigel (Diskussion) 19:33, 5. Nov. 2023 (CET)
- @Ameisenigel: I just came here to try to warn you. If you check the sources, you will only find a) works done by this person b) webs from his university and c) sources that not mention the scientist at all (like number 7). But it's your wiki. Proceed as you like. Thanks anyway. Paucabot (Diskussion) 20:35, 5. Nov. 2023 (CET)
- Honestly I am not really interested in this article and I do not mind if it gets deleted, we should just go the usual way for deletion requests. --Ameisenigel (Diskussion) 20:57, 5. Nov. 2023 (CET)
- Per our notability criteria many professors are considered to be notable. --Ameisenigel (Diskussion) 21:00, 5. Nov. 2023 (CET)
- @Ameisenigel: The slow procedure of a proper deletion process is a good thing to protect good faith editing from random administrators. But in cases like this, when some of us are trying to stop serial spammers (se also Kosmologischer Operator von Boushaki and its WD history), insisting that we must learn to fill in a proper deletion requesh in ca 100 editons, is only helping the spammers. - Most deletion requests in this wiki are decided after 7 days. This is not really slow if you consider that this article is more than one year old. --Ameisenigel (Diskussion) 21:14, 5. Nov. 2023 (CET)
- @Ameisenigel The slow part is that we (who are inexperienced guests in most of these 100 languages/edtions) are forced to learn 100 different procedures for deletion requests when all we really want to do, is to use as little time as possible on a) warning you at de:wp, and b) stopping these spammers, before we go back to doing what we prefer to do in our Wiki time. - Dear @Ameisenigel could I ask you to go through the trouble of setting up a proper deletion process here!? Bear in mind that 5 of the 7 references are created at his own workplace, so there are almost no independent sources to support his notability. Bw --Orland (Diskussion) 19:46, 7. Nov. 2023 (CET)
