Although many scholars in the past have given Longobardo's date of death as 1655 (or later, in some cases), contemporary sources indicate that he died in 1654 at the age of 89. It took much sifting through documents to reach this conclusion, but I am sure that it is correct.
I hope that the Wicki-editor will correct this, since I don't know how to do it. --Liam Brockey
