Rechtsstellung

I don't think you can call TV 2 a "privatrechtlicher Fernsehsender", it is owned by the Danish state, is considered a "public service broadcaster" and is somewhat still funded by licence fee (for the regions, the national channel received license money until 2004). Hence you could not say that RTL and SAT.1 are the German equivalents, I would say ZDF could be equivalent, but it's a bit tricky putting such labels when the structure is different in different countries. I took this phrase from the page of Danmarks Radio, where information about TV 2 was once placed. The mention of RTL and SAT.1 (which I also took from the DR-page) is rather about the broadcasted programmes than about the licensing status. So shall I change the description to "öffentlich-rechtlicher Fernsehsender" or do you know a catchy phrase to describe TV 2's status in English, that I may then translate to German? I'm not sure whether it's a privatrechtlicher or a öffentlich-rechtlicher broadcaster, to be safe we could just say "Fernsehsender" without mentioning privat or öffentlich, but if I must choose, it would be öffentlich. The mention of RTL and SAT.1 is also a bit risky, I would suggest that you simply say something like "TV 2 broadcast the Danish version of 'Who Wants to be Millionaire'" without mentioning the German channels at all.
