Ftan ist ein kleiner Gebirgsort auf ca. 1.650 Meter Höhe im Engadin, Schweiz. Hier finde ich - seit über 40 Jahren Apotheker - Zeit und Muße, in Wikipedia zu lesen, Beiträge zu aktualisieren / erweitern und auch eigene Beiträge zu verfassen.

Innovative Medikamente, seltene Indikationen, neue Therapieansätze und Arzneimittelfirmen sind mein Interesse.

Offensichtlich haben die Nicht-beeinflussbaren Risikofaktoren (i.e. Alter - konkret 69 Jahre, männliches Geschlecht und positive Familienanamnese) und definitiv nicht die beeinflussbaren (!) Risikofaktoren (Rauchen, ungesunde Ernährung, Bewegungsmangel, Stress, Übergewicht, Diabetes mellitus, hohe Blutzuckerwerte, hohe LDL-C-Werte, niedrige HDL-C-Werte, erhöhte Triglyceride, Bluthochdruck) zu einem Herzinfarkt geführt, der meine Sicht auf das Leben maßgebend beeinflusst hat. Krass, wie es einen - trotz gesundem Lebensstil - erwischen kann.

Ich arbeite sehr unregelmäßig in Wikipedia. Auch nach über 15 Jahren Mitarbeit lerne ich immer noch dazu und freue mich natürlich auch über Dank:
