Henry Morris (Mediziner)

Henry Morris, ab 1909 Sir Henry Morris (* 7. Januar 1844 in Petworth; † 14. Juni 1926) war ein britischer Chirurg und Anatom.

Leben und Wirken

Henry Morris studierte Medizin am University College und im Guy’s Hospital in London. Im Guy’s Hospital wurde er 1865 Assistenzarzt („Resident Medical Officer“) und „Haus-Chirurg“. 1870 ließ er sich als Chirurg in London nieder. Er war „Surgical Registrar“ des Middlesex Hospital in London und er wurde dort 1871 zum „Assistant-Surgeon“ und 1878 zum „Surgeon“ gewählt. 1871–1881 war er Dozent für Anatomie und für Chirurgie im Middlesex Hospital.
