Lange Hecke describes an Archaeological site associated with the Urnfield culture and dating to the Migration Period. It is located in the community Kahl am Main in the district Aschaffenburg of Lower Franconia in Bavaria (Germany). Both periods are represented by a settlement and a necropolis. The structures of the Late Bronze Age include several burial urns and at least six buildings as well as various pits. The gravefield of the Migration Period dates from the late 4th century AD till mid to late 5th century AD and consists of different types of cremation burials as well as of inhumation burials. The simultaneous Germanic burials and settlement structures are an important link between Late antiquity and the Early Middle Ages in northwestern Bavaria.
