Hi @RikVII:. On the french Wikipedia where I work, we don't wait informations from the UCI, we take datas from ProCyclingStats. For Trek-Segafredo I add the source on d:Q682460#P1448 and do the same thing for Dukla Banska Bystrica (d:Q378454#P1448). It is a loss of time to wait.

@RikVII:. It is not a problem, I just must explain to the users what I want to do. I start with the first case. With Molarus, an user from the German Wikipedia, we work since one month on a program called Module:Cycling race. I upload it on DE Wiki, and as you can see, this program now exists on eight Wikipedias. Here, we have Modul:Cycling race, and Vorlage:Cycling race/listofstages call its function listofstages that list the stage of a cycling race. To call this function, you only have to write {{Cycling race/listofstages|Q16027296}}, where Q........ is the number of the Wikidata item. Datas are generally entered by Anthony59999 or by me, according to ProCyclingStats. One unique user can update all Wikipedias that use this programm. Datas on Wikidata can be sourced. If there is an error, they can be deprecated.

This program bring a very big gain : it is finished the time that you must do the work for your Wikipedia when I will do the same thing on FR Wiki and other users on their Wiki. Now, if me or another whe update the winner of the stage and the general classification, all others Wikipedian save time. As you can see by clicking on the Wikidata logo, Wikidata items are translated in German, so it is not difficult. We fill datas like an infobox.

Third case, Sjoerd de Bruijn add a team in 2014 (at this time, I don't know Wikidata), and few weeks ago, Anthony5999 adds the new team of Ruben Zepuntke, but forget to finish the 2014 team. I correct the mistake. With the weeks, Molarus develop the program. On another hand, we are developping Wikidata. When I see now a red line, the biggest probability is we have a problem when we list the team, just for one cyclist. The fact is we are in a transition, and sometimes, all is not perfect (every day I must enter for teams the history of their different names, it permits to display the correct name of a team at a given date). No problem for your English. For me it is easy to write (I was one of the best when I was in class, in France the level in English is very bad), but it is the hell for me to speak. On this point, it is more easy to speak german, even if I understand very very few (my grand-father that came from Deutschland died ten years before my birth). Korrektur im Code

Moin. Ich habe mir erlaubt, zur Behebung eines Scriptfehlers in Abu Dhabi Tour 2015 (jetzt natürlich weg) den Code von Modul:Cycling race um eine kleine Zeile zu ergänzen. Ohne diese war der Code nur und ausschliesslich für wiki=="en" bei gegebenem Sitelink funktionstüchtig - alles andere meckerte wegen eines Fehlers mit 'nil' als Parameter für gsub(). --Anton Sevarius (Diskussion) 16:18, 23. Cycling race/infobox

Hi Jérémy,

in the german Cycling race/infobox the winner of the race is labeld as "Gesamtwertung", wich doesn't make to much sense, as we see the second as second and third as third. Even worse: "Gesamtwertung" in german make only sense regarding the general classification of stage races; it is not used for one-stages-races or stages. Could you change "Gesamtwertung" into "Sieger"? And "Sieger" in the title into "Ergebnis"?

If there is no german or english transaltion of the rider name in the corresponding Wikidata-Item the error will occur. To fix this you have to add the german (or english) name in wikidata to all riders of the team. Hi Vorlage:U. In fact, I don't know, I just discover this function because you speak of it. You should see with Psemdel, but I think it was the logical suite of tables we use by the past, as you can see at fr:Saison 2014 de l'équipe cycliste Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise. Even if I think for some cases as here P518 should be used. Your solution is good. Your idea can be good, the problem can come with translations if we have an item in more by cycling team. Three year ago, I tried another solution on Q21087714, it was just a test. For a practical use, we can imagine adding P54 as we do for trainees, and imagine a function that take only cyclists from the team. There are numerous possibilities. Total Direct Énergie

Hi Jérémy,

we have a problem with this site wich is may be caused by wikidata. We want to delete the site, because we need it for Direct Énergie. But we can't delete it, because there are links, that cannnot be deleted: Linklist.

As you can see Direct Énergie is only shown as part of the wikidata-object. Strangly enough the wikidata-object is already linked to Total Direct Énergie (Radsportteam).

Do you have an idea what to do?

Hi Jérémy, I observed that there seems to be a little mistake in your template. It is about the display of Scott Davies. On the french wiki page he is displayed correctly, but in the documentation of your template it is displayed as pure text without a link to Scott Davies (Radsportler). If you mark his name with the cursor the text "[Öffnen]/[Schließen]" pops up. Nevertheless, you somehow created a link to Scott Davies. Ah yes, it is normal, it is to avoid link toward bad articles, I remember when the German user Molarus explains that years ago. Once the article will be created in German, you will have a blue link. Molarus seems to be inactive for almost three years. I think I have to clarify my issue. It is great that there is no link to Michael Potter. It is also ok for me that the template avoids redlinks. The issue is that the template creates a link to Scott Davies, but displays Scott Davies in pure text. The questian is why the template creates a link to Scott Davies that is never needed and more precisely should be avoided?! It is just about this unnecessary link.--Doktor Wu (Diskussion) 18:11, 17. dieses Wikidata-Dingens sind an sich eine gute Sache, ich habe allerdings einige Anmerkungen bzw. Bitten. Mir geht es explizit um die Tour de France bzw. Tour de France Femmes.

1. Trotz des derzeitigeen UCI-Verbotes, die russische und weißrussische Flagge zu zeigen, werden diese dargestellt. Ich verwende dafür derzeit die leere Flagge {{NIX2}}: ~Niemandsland.
2. Zudem sind die Namen der Fahrerinnen (aus RUS und BLR) auf englisch statt deutsch transkribiert, so bei Tamara Dronova-Balabolina, die hier Tamara Dronowa-Balabolina geschrieben wird.
3. In den Tabellenköpfen "Fahrer" statt "Fahrerin". Ich bin kein Genderman, aber wenn ausschließlich Frauen fahren, sollte es auch Fahrerin/nen heißen.
4. Läßt sich die Anzahl der angzeigten Einträge begrenzen? Derzeit werden alle bei Wikidata erfaßten Platzierten angezeigt. Daher war die Tabelle gestern 21 Namen lang und es wurden heute in Wikidata Daten gelöscht, damit es nur noch 10 sind und die Tabellen in Artikeln nicht elend lang sind.

I have a little problem with this nice wikidata-template or the way it is used. It is used in UCI_Women’s_WorldTour_2021 an the french version a well to show the general classifićation of the WWT 2021. Almost perfect. Only that the german titel ist "Punktewertung" as the french is "Classement par points", which is a bit weird. A "Classement par points" is in stage race a secondary classification like the KOM. In the WWT as as well in almost all series the general classification is other than in stage races the calculation of the general classification is based not on times, but on points, nevertheless it's the general classification not a secondary classification.
