- Im Oktober gibt Barbara Mandrell ihr letztes Konzert[2]
- Am 4. November erscheint Shania Twains drittes Album Come On Over, das mehrere Verkaufsrekorde aufstellt. Es wird das am besten verkaufte Country-Studioalbum aller Zeiten (Double Live von Garth Brooks aus dem nächsten Jahr ist das erfolgreichste), das am besten verkaufte Studioalbum einer Frau, das am besten verkaufte Album einer Kanadierin und das acht-erfolgreichste Album in den USA.[3]
