Die Aktion zum Internationalen Museumstag findet dieses Jahr von 4. bis 18. Mai statt. Hilf mit, beim Wikidata-Wettbewerb die Einträge rund um Museen in 25 Länder-Kategorien zu verbessern und gewinne einen der 75 Preise. Wenn du neu bei Wikidata bist, kannst du am 11. Schewa Kehilot – שבע קהילות Die jüdischen Sieben-Gemeinden unter den Fürsten Esterházy (1612–1848)

Am 13. Juni besuchen wir im Rahmen der Reihe GLAM digital ab 18:00 Uhr die aktuellen Ausstellung über die Siebengemeinden im Schloss Esterházy in Eisenstadt (Burgenland, Österreich).

In einem Hintergrundgespräch mit dem Sammlungsleiter Dr. Florian T. Bayer erfahren wir an Hand von Dokumenten und Archivalien mehr über die Lebensumstände und Lebensbedingungen in diesen Gemeinden. Auch widmet sich hier erstmals eine umfassende Ausstellung der Rolle der Fürstenfamilie Esterházy als Garantin – und auch Nutznießerin – des jüdischen Lebens, und damit einem bislang kaum erforschten Aspekt jüdischer Geschichte in Österreich.

Der Wurzerhof – ein denkmalschütztes landwirtschaftliches Bauensemble in Osttirol.

Im Juni 2022 widmete sich eine Gruppe von uns mit einer Wikipedianischen KulTour der Dokumentation von Kulturlandschaften in Osttirol. Einen der Höhepunkte, den Wurzerhof, möchten wir nun im Rahmen von GLAM digital auch allen Interessierten vorstellen die nicht dabei sein konnten.

GLAM-hybrid Museum Sammlung Prinzhorn -
Ein Besuch im Museum Sammlung Prinzhorn in Heidelberg und online.

Gemeinsam mit dem Museum Sammlung Prinzhorn und dem Sonderforschungsbereich 933 „Materiale Textkulturen“ werden wir am 19. November 2022 eine GLAM-hybrid-Veranstaltung durchführen. Die Veranstaltung ist die Fortsetzung der bestehenden Kooperation und schließt an die virtuelle Veranstaltung vom 07.11.2020 an.

Wir konnten dafür PD Dr. Thomas Röske und Dr. Maike Rotzoll, sowie weitere Mitarbeitende aus dem Museum gewinnen. Nach einem Input zu Thema wird es für die Teilnehmenden vor Ort und auch für die Online-Teilnehmenden eine Führung durch die Sammlung des Museums geben. Im Anschluss wollen wir gemeinsam im Rahmen einer Schreibwerkstatt on- und offline Artikel zum Museum und seiner Sammlung verfassen, ausbauen und aktualisieren. Ein virtueller Besuch im LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur in Münster (Westfalen).

Gemeinsam mit dem LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur werden wir am 16. Januar 2023 eine GLAM-digital-Veranstaltung durchführen. Die Veranstaltung ist die Fortsetzung der bestehenden Kooperation und schließt an die Veranstaltung vom 12.November 2022 an.

Wir konnten dafür Dr. Petra Marx (Kuratorin der Ausstellung "Die Kunst der Herrschaft"), sowie weitere Mitarbeitende aus dem Museum gewinnen. An diesem Abend wird uns Frau Dr. Marx die von ihr kuratierte Ausstellung “Die Kunst der Herrschaft” vorstellen. Nach einer virtuellen Führung gibt es Zeit für Fragen und die Möglichkeit zum Austausch über mögliche Kooperationsideen. Wir freuen uns auf euch! Cultural Broadcasting Archive – European Digital Public Spaces

Am 13. Februar 2023 gibt es die Gelegenheit zu einem virtuellen Besuch beim österreichischen Cultural Broadcasting Archive (CBA). Das CBA ist eine zivilgesellschaftliche Medien- und Kommunikationsplattform aus Österreich. Es ist der größte Podcastprovider des Landes mit freiem Zugang und vor allem dafür bekannt, dass darüber europäische Communityradios wechselseitig Sendungen übernehmen können.

Mit dem CBA gab es bereits in der Vergangenheit bereits mehrere Kooperationsprojekte. Diesmal bekommen wir einen Fachvortrag über European Digital Public Spaces, eine zu entwickelnde europäische öffentliche Sphäre, die demokratische Grundrechte sichert.

Als erstes Kunstmuseum Österreichs bekennt sich das Belvedere zu einer Open Content Policy bei Abbildungen von urheberrechtsfreien Kunstwerken. Diese werden auf der Webseite in Druckqualität kostenfrei zum Download zur Verfügung gestellt. Weniger bekannt sind die digitale Bibliothek sowie das digitale Archiv, die im Mittelpunkt dieser Veranstaltung stehen und vom Research Center des Belvedere betreut werden.

Tool of the week
- Cersei - is a tool designed for importing or scraping data from various third-party sources, using source-specific Python code. It can use a "headless browser" to scrape complicated websites that rely on eg JavaScript to navigate. It can therefore access data sources that can not be accessed via eg Mix'n'match. The data from sources can be updated regularly, either for everything, or just changed entries (if the source has a "recent changes" equivalent).
- Wikidata:Zotero/Cita - is a Wikidata addon for Zotero that adds citations (i.e., what other items an item cites) metadata support to this open source reference management software, using cites work (P2860) information available from Wikidata, and enabling users to easily contribute missing data.

„Gesammelt um jeden Preis!“ war von April bis November 2023 im Museum zu sehen und handelte von NS-Raub, Recht und Rückgabe. Die Ausstellung stellte die Erforschung des Erwerbs und der Herkunft von Dingen im Museum vor und ging deren Verbleibsgeschichten bis heute nach. Im Rahmen von GLAM digital werden Kuratorinnen sie noch einmal präsentieren und über die Hintergründe berichten.

Termin: 15 Uhr: Besuch des Lechmuseums im Wasserkraftwerk Langweid, Lechwerkstr. 19, 86462 Langweid, mit einer kostenlosen Führung, die 1,5 bis 2 Stunden dauert. Zu den Attraktionen des Museums siehe auch Lechmuseum Bayern.

Danach ab ca. 18 Uhr: Stammtisch im Restaurant Kreta, Ratiborer Str. 12, 86405 Meitingen. Dort sind vorläufig 12 Plätze für uns reserviert (Anzahl kann erhöht werden).

Wir laden Dich herzlich zu unserem 77. Stammtisch-Treffen ein, das am 14. April ab 15 Uhr stattfinden soll.

Zu diesem Treffen sind wir um 15 Uhr zu einer Führung durch das Lechmuseum Bayern in Langweid am Lech angemeldet. Dort treffen wir uns kurz vor 15 Uhr vor dem Eingang. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass das Gebäude ein Baudenkmal ist, Fotos sind also sehr willkommen. Ob das Fotografieren auch innerhalb des Gebäudes während der Führung erlaubt ist, wird sich noch herausstellen.

Danach halten wir ab 18 Uhr unseren Stammtisch ab, wofür wir Plätze im griechischen Restaurant Kreta reserviert haben.

Wenn auch Du dabei sein möchtest, melde Dich bitte auf WP:Augsburg an, damit wir besser planen können. Falls Du jemanden mitbringen möchtest, trage ihn bitte einzeln in die Liste mit ein. Gerne kannst Du bei der Anmeldung auch Diskussionswünsche dazuschreiben, die wir dann bereden können.

April 2024 mit Dr. Hilmar Sack, Leiter des Fachbereichs Geschichte, Politik und Kultur der Wissenschaftlichen Dienste des Deutschen Bundestages und Dr. Tobias Kaiser von der Kommission für Geschichte des Parlamentarismus und der politischen Parteien, über das Parlament, die Herzkammer unserer Demokratie, näher auszutauschen können. Wiki Loves Demokratie - Mütter des Grundgesetzes. Eine KulTour-digital-Veranstaltung mit der Stiftung Archiv der deutschen Frauenbewegung

Im Rahmen unserer Reihe "Wiki Loves Demokratie" im Jahr 2024 werden wir von Kerstin Wolff und Laura Schibbe von der Stiftung Archiv der deutschen Frauenbewegung online am 14. September 2024 mehr über die Mütter des Grundgesetzes erfahren. Darüber hinaus werden wir uns weiteren Frauen annähern, die die demokratische Entwicklung der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in den letzten Jahrzehnten maßgeblich getragen, begleitet und verändert haben. Der 75. Geburtstag des Grundgesetzes ist ein würdiger Anlass, um die Bedeutung unserer Verfassung für Frauenrechte und die Frauen- und Geschlechtergeschichte der letzten Jahrzehnte in den Blick zu nehmen.

Außerdem wird uns ein Einblick in die Geschichte des Archivs gewährt werden. Nach den Inputs wird es Zeit für Fragen und die Möglichkeit zum Austausch über mögliche Kooperationsideen geben.
